About Sonic Distribution

In September 2012, Sonic Distribution will be celebrating 10 years as the UK's leading independent distributor of pro audio, recording and music technology equipment. Sonic Distribution is the UK distributor for many of the recording community's key innovators and leading manufacturers including Apogee, Rupert Neve Designs, sE Electronics, sE Munro, sE Rupert Neve and Waves. Our warehouse, sales, finance, logistics, marketing and support departments are based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

In March 2012, Sonic Distribution won the regional final of HSBC Business Thinking Awards 2012. Business Thinking is a multi-million pound initiative from HSBC aimed at supporting growing businesses. The initiative offers UK businesses a share in £108m of funding, with 18 regional winners each eligible for up to £6m.

Sonic Distribution Owner and MD, James Ishmaev-Young commented at the Awards ceremony at Duxford Imperial War Museum:
