Waves eMotion LV1 Live Mixer Announced

Waves has today introduced the game-changing eMotion LV1 Live Mixer, a revolutionary digital mixing console for front-of-house, monitor and broadcast engineers. Based on Waves SoundGrid technology, this software mixer provides Waves' signature pro sound with the fast workflow that's required for demanding live sound environments.

The eMotion LV1 has 64 channels with an option for 32 or 16 channels. Each of the mixer’s channels has its own plugin rack capable of running up to eight Waves and third-party plugins meaning you can mix live with your favourite plugins all running inside the mixer itself. This means that nothing stands between your mixing console and your processors—all your plugins are now controlled directly from the mixer itself.

The eMotion LV1 includes the newly released the eMo D5 Dynamics, eMo F2 Filter and eMo Q4 Equalizer as it’s standard channel processing plugins to provide maximum clarity and efficiency. All plugin presets and chains saved in the eMotion LV1 can be shared with the Waves MultiRack and StudioRack plugin hosts, enabling you to move seamlessly between live and studio environments.

Supporting up to four screens, the eMotion LV1 can be controlled by using a variety of control surfaces, from multi-touch screens and diverse portable devices, to a single laptop or tablet.

All digital mixers with a software interface let you edit your sessions offline, without audio, when you're away from the live venue. The eMotion LV1 goes one huge step further by letting you actually mix your sessions, with audio, no matter where you are. The eMotion LV1 can be configured as a portable or stationary setup, and can connect to any SoundGrid-compatible I/O or server. Meaning you can easily carry your mixer with you in a small carry-on bag or even a backpack. Run a pre-recorded audio session on the LV1, and work on your actual audio mix well ahead of the show - anytime, anyplace!

Waves LV1 is available now through all UK Waves dealers in three different versions; 16-channel, 32-channel and 64-channel.
